Art Month kicks off for 2023

We’re delighted to bring back the exciting community initiative that is Art Month.
This year we are really pumped for the kids to bring forward their best artworks and to add some colour and flair to the community. We’ve ramped up the prizes with art hampers, Nintendo Switches, Luna Park passes and more!
The annual event will return in March for its eighth year and we’ll be kick-starting the fun with our popular children’s colouring competition. Children aged 12 and under are invited to unleash their creative sides, with some fantastic prizes to be won within three age categories. The entries with the most votes will have their design showcased on our CobdenHayson SOLD stickers on our signboards.
CH Director Danny Cobden is passionate about getting kids involved in the initiative. “The level of talent and enthusiasm of our local kids is incredible. Encouraging them to bring out their artistic sides is a rewarding experience and they get immense joy out of seeing their creations displayed around our neighbourhoods. We’re always keen to get behind anything that brings the community together, especially in an area that’s long been known for its artistic leanings.”
Samantha Elvy adds, “We get involved in our community in many ways but this event really gets plenty of interest. These budding artists and their families are so thrilled with their efforts, the standard is so high and the process is so much fun for everyone involved. We’re always blown away by the entries.”
Art Month will run throughout March with the winners announced in the first week of April.
